To prevent breakages when long range plumbing with 4-5oz leads we recommend using Sonar Shock Braid as a leader. If a nylon shock leader is used much of the touch and feel about the make up and contours of the bottom which are so precisely transmitted through a braided reel line can be lost or muted.
Has non stretch properties which not only transmit all casting power directly to the lead for maximum distance but also provide maximum sensitivity for accurate feature finding.
