'EXCELLENT, BUT EXPENSIVE, PRODUCT SHAME ABOUT BATTERY LIFE.' |
|
| Strengths: |
Wireless remote, reliability (even when wet) and general strength of product. |
| Weaknesses: |
Range, when used by idiots who shouldn't be 200m from their rods !
Battery life not good in the remote unit, despite manufacturer's claims to have improved this feature. That said remember the remote is duplicating the actions of up to four indicator heads. |
| Overall: |
An excellent product, but on the expensive side.
Ignoring vibration detection the Rx's minimum line travel distance before signalling a bite is 7.5mm (?). On the previous version (LXR) this distance was 2.4mm. Personally I feel the LXR was superior to the RX in this regard as I'm not always a carp angler fishing bolt rigs. |
