The Delkim Bite Indicator is used mainly as primary indication, usually in conjunction with a visual indicator, when ledgering for most species. It can also be used as back up indication when quiver-tipping, particularly when using the heavier type of tip, without any other visual indicator and similarly when bottom sea fishing from beach or pier in certain conditions.
