Delivery

All goods are sent via Royal Mail, Parcelforce or City Link .

Small items are sent via Royal Mail (normally 2-5 working days on a signed for delivery).

Medium and large item orders are sent either via City Link or Parcelforce (depending on location).

A signature will be required on delivery.

Delivery will be between 8am and 5:30pm Monday to Friday (no weekend or UK bank-holiday deliveries).

City Link orders are processed before 3:00pm and are usually despatched the same working day. We aim to deliver next working day from receiving your order so most items should be with you in 1 to 3 working days from placing your order, if we hold the items in stock.

Royal Mail orders are processed on the day of the order and are dispatched on Monday, Wednesday or Friday and should be with you within 3 to 5 days.

Delivery Charges

Royal Mail - £2.20 for small items.

Royal Mail - £4.20 for items going in A4 envelope.

City Link City Pack (up to 48hrs) - £6.50 for items that will fit in approx pillow size package.

City Link Next Day - £8.25 for larger items within the UK including multiple packages.

IMPORTANT NOTE - City Link will only attempt delivery twice, further attempts or changes of delivery address after despatch will be charged at cost. After 2nd attempt the consignment will be returned to Castaway Tackle and there will be a return charge to pay that can either be deducted from any refund on returned product or paid via credit card.

If you are not going to be in to receive the delivery please arrange with us a date (not including weekends) that would be convenient call on 01522 567220 or 01522 567090 between 9am and 6pm Monday to Saturday.

NOTE - Don't tell Us after your order has been despatched that you're going to be on holiday for a month!! Ask for your order to be sent when it is convenient for you to receive.

If you are not in when our couriers try to deliver they will leave a missed delivery card. You must telephone the number on the card and quote your parcel number to arrange another delivery attempt when you will be in, or if you don’t receive a card you can call us on 01522 567220 or 01522 567090 (Opening Times – Monday to Thursday 9:00am to 6:00pm, Friday 9:00am to 7:00pm, Saturday 9:00am to 6:00pm and Sunday 10:00am to 4:00pm).

NOTE - Our couriers will only attempt your delivery twice you will have to collect from their depot after the second delivery attempt , if you do not collect your order after five days it will be returned to us at your expense.

Delivery to other countries is available and an approximate charge is shown in the basket for European deliveries please ask for a quote for countries outside the EU

By Internet

Our internet site is open all day every day select the goods required from the Index on the left

Add the items to your basket using the BUY button

You can see your selected items by clicking the View Basket button

Click on the Checkout button

Complete our online order form and press the Complete Order button

You will receive an automated E Mail from our secure server confirming the order has been placed with us.

Please Note if you do not receive this e-maill within 8 hours, contact us by e-mail quoting your transaction number.

You will only receive further email from us if there is a problem with either order details, out of stock products or delivery problems.

Orders are processed the same day and are usually despatched the same day (orders need to be completed by 3:00pm for City Link) if we hold the stock and Royal Mail will be dispatched on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Payment via Check or Postal Order.

You can either call us via the phone or write a letter containing order details, your name, address and contact telephone numbers. Please state delivery type and allow for added cost of postage and packaging in check/postal order.
