The heaviest rod in the range, yet one that has a multitude of uses. The semi-parabolic action of the blank has been developed to give a controlled build-up of power, making long casting easier, particularly with bulky loads, such as method feeders and dead baits. Use them from right under the rod tips to the far horizon. In the summer months we use a pair of these rods for specimen carp fishing at ranges up to the 100m mark. In big floods they are pressed into service with 8oz leads for flood water barbelling, and in the depths of Winter they make the perfect pike rods.
